1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participating in dog training, behavior modification, pack walks, or related activities with The Better Dog involves inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, injuries from other dogs, leash entanglements, and unforeseen reactions from my dog or others.

2. Responsibility for Dog Behavior

I affirm that I am the legal owner (or authorized caregiver) of the dog(s) listed above. I acknowledge and accept full responsibility for the behavior of my dog during training sessions, walks, evaluations, or any other service provided by The Better Dog.

3. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and my dog’s participation in these services. I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Better Dog, its employees,

trainers, independent contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any liability, claims, damages, or demands resulting from injury, illness, damage, or loss to person or property arising out of my involvement with The Better Dog.

4. Health and Vaccination Disclosure

I confirm that my dog is up to date on vaccinations and is free of contagious diseases or parasites to the best of my knowledge. I agree to notify The Better Dog immediately if any health issues arise before a scheduled session.

5. Emergency Medical Care

In the event of a medical emergency involving my dog, I authorize The Better Dog to seek immediate veterinary attention if I am not present or reachable. I agree to be financially responsible for any resulting veterinary fees.

6. Media Release

I grant permission for The Better Dog to photograph or film my dog for use in social media, marketing, or promotional materials.

7. Agreement and Acknowledgment

I certify that I have read, understood, and agree to this waiver and release of liability. I understand that by submitting payment for a training program, I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue or initiate legal action.
